Hummingbirds

We are "hiding" in the mountains of New Mexico for a month to beat the torrid summer of Dallas-Texas.

Our blessings included a recent sighting of several very beautiful Hummingbirds. I have never seen so many in one place ever.







At one point in time yesterday, there were some 7 or 8 of them at the feeders. I shot the picture below in digital color and converted it to B&W. I didn't like the way the picture looked having been shot from behind the window. I like the B&W version much better :)

    The sight of several Hummingbirds must have been incredible. Converting your photo to B&W was a cool idea. Enjoy your time in the mountains!

    That really is amazing! We would see several when we lived in the mts of NC but never down here in Florida. I would have been SO excited!
