Timber Creek Trail Hike

Genghis and I hiked the Timber Creek trail recently.
This trail is about 2 miles from home and is a paved trail, wide enough to accommodate both pedestrians and other self-propelled kind. It is well shaded and has quite a few birds and critters.

We cross Timber Creek at two different points on this hike and Genghis is afraid of the bridges. His tail drops down and we both walk-in the “less scary side” of the bridge, which h.e knows and chooses every time.

Below is a view from one of the bridges. .

Next, we give you a close-up shot, so we can enjoy a view of the sun bathers.

Genghis goes nuts when he sees squirrels. I am not sure he will harm them, but I think he would love to chase them.

This particular squirrel acted as though the think twigs/branches could hide him completely.

This next squirrel had a dark coloration on his/her face. Could quite make out if it was his color or some black thing was smeared on hsi/her lovely face.

He/she posed for a couple of more snaps.

Before scurrying off to safety.

It was a pleasant two hike hike and the weather was perfect - in the low 60s and Genghis and I had a great time!

Linking with Saturday's Critters.

That's all for now.
Be well!
